1. Who we are
Katabarwa Labs Inc (“Katabarwa Labs”, “we”, “us”) builds single-purpose operational tools distributed through enterprise marketplaces, including the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and Microsoft AppSource, the AWS Marketplace, and the Atlassian Marketplace.
2. How our applications handle your data
Our applications are deployed into your own environment (your Azure subscription, AWS account, or Atlassian/SaaS instance) and execute there using a managed identity, IAM role, or app permissions that you grant and can revoke. They read only the metadata required to perform their function, keep any state inside your environment, and send output only to the notification endpoint you configure. Your operational data never reaches Katabarwa Labs. Uninstalling or deleting the application removes it and its data from your environment.
3. Information we do receive
We receive a limited amount of information from the marketplace in order to transact and support you — not from your deployed application:
- Purchase & subscription data provided by the marketplace (e.g., company name, the fact of a subscription, and billing status). Payment card details are handled by the marketplace/cloud provider, not by us.
- Support communications you send us directly (e.g., your email and the contents of a support request).
- Basic website information if you visit this site (standard server request data). We do not use advertising trackers.
4. How we use it
Only to (a) provide and support the products you have subscribed to, (b) meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and (c) communicate with you about your subscription. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Sharing
We share information only with the marketplace / cloud provider that bills and delivers the product (Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, or Atlassian), and service providers we use for accounting, tax, and payments — each only as needed. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Retention
We keep the limited marketplace and support information above only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law, then delete it. Data inside your own environment is retained and deleted under your control.
7. Security
Because our applications run in your environment and we do not receive your operational data, the primary controls are the ones you already operate (your identity, IAM, and network controls). For the limited information we do hold, we apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
